Three of Rousix's four founders share life experiences that, in certain respects, parallel the biblical accounts of Paul, Joseph, and John the Baptist, each of whom experienced imprisonment before fulfilling significant roles. Founder and CEO Adam Hamid served ten years in federal prison following a narcotics conspiracy conviction. During that time, he earned a degree in Specialized Studies from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, through a correspondence program, with a concentration in Money and Banking, Finance, and Economics. 

His future General Counsel, William Gallion, was housed in the adjoining cell.  Over the years, Mr. Gallion mentored Mr. Hamid in business law, regularly assisting him with his coursework and encouraging him to complete his education. Reflecting on that period, Mr. Hamid states: "Bill was one of my greatest teachers. The circumstances were like something out of a movie, but they were real. For five years, twice a week, he would tell me, 'Adam, finish your school.'" Mr. Gallion previously served as lead counsel in the $200 million Fen-Phen class action litigation and now serves as Private General Counsel to Rousix Inc., advising the company on its legal matters and corporate affairs.
